Who are you?
In a nutshell....from Oklahoma, an only child and raised on the straight and narrow. Formerly married and curious (no kids); divorced and came out when I was 28 or 29 yrs; joined Navy at 30 yrs and stayed in for 7 yrs.; Democrat, Republican, Democrat, Republican, Democrat, Republican, today I'm a registered Democrat.... and single. I don't think the two are related, though.

Why did you start riding, and when?
In late 2006 I was sick and tired of paying $60 and more to fill the tank on my SUV. The prospect of owning a hybrid seemed boring. American Chopper became more and more interesting to me then the idea of riding became an obsession. Finally, the sound of rolling thunder on a weekend morning became a distraction. I bought myself a bike for my 56th birthday and have been in love with riding ever since. My SUV doesn't move from that spot on the street too much these days.

Why are you doing the Journey to Graceland?
Hey, life is short, I ain't getting any younger and I haven't had a good adventure in years. I'm looking forward to Southern cooking, music, and hospitality. Oh yeah, and sweet southern drawls.

What, if anything, does Graceland represent to you?
It's Tennessee's own "Disneyland"...an opulent, over-the-top home built by a small town boy who became the world's most famous rock 'n roll super star. I'd like to see where he made those peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Name one thing that the Girlz of Graceland would be surprised to know about you.
I like to shoot. I have a Ruger Blackhawk 357/38 that I cherish. It was given to me as a Valentine's gift in 1976 and I keep it clean and in good working order.
